I believe the Lord so kindly pursues us and pushes us toward the good life He offers. In fact, in the original language of the Old Testament, the wording in Psalm 23 says that “His loving-kindness chases us down with the intent of capturing us!” He’s longing to show you the height and depth and breadth of His unconditional love for you.
He encourages us to deeply inhale the truth that He has done the work of salvation that we ourselves cannot do. It’s HE that is faithful and He works His perfection, power, wisdom, and abilities through our weak lives as we trust Him to do it.
I’m so grateful for you. I’m amazed that you’re seeking Jesus in a world that ignores and even hates Him. He wants to use you to love those same people as He empowers and enables you by His Spirit. I long to be a source of encouragement for you in that pursuit.
